Arise - It takes effort

Saturday 17-8-13 Devotion - Excerpts from two devotionals.

Open Heavens 20-6-13 A smooth stone. You cannot be a smooth stone until you do away with anything questionable in your life.

Open Heavens 15-7-13 Laying demands on your calling. Becoming a champion involves a lot of effort while no effort to die a potential champion.

Open Heavens 17-8-13 Working on hardened hearts. The holy spirit working with you will turn God's word in your mouth into fire and the hearts of men into wood. Doctor Jesus specializes on working on men's stoney hearts. Tell him of any.

My Utmost for his highest 17-3 The workers ruling passion. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him - 2 Corinthians 5:9. Is my master ambition to please him and be acceptable to Him, or is it something less, no matter how noble.

My Utmost for his highest 17-8 Are you discouraged in devotion. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me - Luke 18:22. His words are amazingly hard.

Father in the Name of Jesus help us to always honour you in all that we do. That we may always labour to be accepted of you. I thank you that you work and I bless your holy name. I thank you for the work that you have started in us and I pray that you will be bring it to a good end. Father give us the strength to serve you and work for you. Work on our hardened hearts that they may become hearts of flesh and that we may with compassion and gratitude carry out the good plans you have for us. Father, let our hearts always be kindled with your words and be alight for you. Give us strength to arise and shine for you. Thank you Father, Thank you Jesus, Thank you Holy Spirit. In Jesus Christ Name I pray.

God please give me another chance. I wonder how this body could be broken. I give myself to you. I need another touch from you, God of second chance. (From song second chance – Dan Moses Album Don't give up)

What's coming is better than what's been. Don't ever give up. I see you crying and you are about to loose control.... soon it will come to an end, just endure what you're going through. What's coming is better that what's been . There has been pain that you can't describe... what's coming is better than what been. I'll endure, I know what's coming. I believe I know what's coming. What's coming is better, what coming is better, what's coming is better than what's been (From song – Dan Moses Album Don't give up)
