When there was trouble he came down - Seek him first.

excerpts from two devotionals

Open Heavens 3-7-13 Little by Little. Watch little developments that are taking place in your life. People fall little by little and rise little by little. Little by Little keep making efforts to grow in faith no matter how little. Don't stay at the same spot.

Open Heavens 2-8-13 Who do you fear? How often does God forewarn you of the plans of your enemies? Work on your relationship with God. Fear no man but God. The fear of man bringeth a snare but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe - Proverbs 29:25

Open Heavens 8-8-13 Riches can disappoint. What are you seeking? What is uppermost in your heart today? Is it God or Wealth? Jesus says you cannot serve God and mammon. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven - Proverbs 23:5. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple – Psalms 27:4 When God gives you true riches, they transcend you to future generations. David.

Open Heavens 16-8-13 Do Something to be Something. Doing nothing takes you nowhere. Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured – Proverbs 27:18. What seperates achievers from non achievers is the price they are prepared. Elisha response to Elijah's 'tarry here' was 'I will not leave thee' (2 Kings 2:1-8)

Father of Time, Father of Mercy, I praise your name and worship you. Thank you Lord for your goodness and mercy. Thank you Lord that you love us and you have good plans for us to give us an expected end. Father help us to seek you first for you know all the things that we need and you shall add them to us. Father may your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May we rise up and shine for you, for your glory. I thank you for the gift of salvation, that you called me by name that you call us by name and you know the number of hairs on our head. Jehovah Tsidkenu, our salvation, we lean on you, you are our strength. Draw us closer and closer to you each day and may our days be filled with your praise. Help us to fear only you and you alone. Lack shall not be our fear for you are a gracious father, Jehovah our provider, and know how to give good things to your children. Fill our hearts anew and keep us for your glory, for I pray this in Jesus Christ Name, Amen.

I know what prayer can do. I know what prayer can do. I know what prayer can do. I know what prayer can do. I've found the answer in prayer and I tell it to everyone. Yes, I know, I know, I know, I know what prayer do. I know what prayer can do....I really know what prayer can do. I am a testimony. I've found the answer and I tell it to everyone. I know, I know, I know, I know what prayer can do. Prayer can heal the sick. Prayer can raise the dead. Prayer can calm every storm. Prayer can save any soul. I've found the answer in prayer and I tell it to everyone. I know, there is power in prayer, I know, I know what prayer can do. (From the Song Prayer – Dan Moses Album Don't give up)

Jesus Ohh. Jesus came from Heaven. When he landed, he landed in Israel. When he landed, he landed in Israel. When there was trouble, God sent him down to Africa. We must praise him in the African way, we must praise him oh, in the African way. Aiye ye ye, Aiye ho ho.. Aiye ye ye Aiye ho ho. I know my Jesus came down to Africa. We must praise him Oh, in the African way. We just have to praise his name. (From the song Africa uui – Dan Moses Album Don't give up)
